COVID-19 UPDATES

Our thoughts are with you all as we navigate our way through the COVID-19 Corona virus Pandemic.  Be assured that our highest priority is the safety and well being of our customers, our staff and our families.  We ask you to abide by the hygiene and social distancing measures we have implemented throughout Litchfield Tourist Park.  We’re closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and, following the advice of the government authorities and experts, we will respond to any updated recommendations.  We shall advise of any updates that may impact your stay on this and our Facebook page.

Update:  26 March 2020

Please note as of 5pm today, Thursday 26 March 2020 many of the attractions in Litchfield National Park will be closed to all visitors. There will be no swimming at any of the sites. The following walking tracks remain open:

1. Florence Creek Walk & Florence Falls Lookout
2. Shady Creek Walk (between Florence and Buley)
3. Cascades

Wangi Falls picnic area remains open and the Wangi Falls Café is open for take away items from 12 noon to 2pm

Please note if there is not enough business to support Wangi Falls Café (Phone 08 8978 2240), they may opt to close.
NT Air Scenic Flights (Phone 08 8978 1423) over Litchfield are available.

Update:  27 March 2020

THIS EASTER WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR CAMPING.

Whilst we understand the need to get away and escape the world at the moment, we believe the risk of sharing bathroom facilities, swimming pools and barbecue facilities with large numbers of people to be unsafe.  Self contained caravans with own shower, toilet and cooking facilities will still be welcome.  Please note the nearest dump point is Batchelor. This does not apply if you have a pre-booked cabin at Litchfield Tourist Park that has its own barbecue and bathroom facilities.  However, as government restrictions tighten we realise that we may be asked to stop trading.  Should this happen, we will advise you by email within 24 hours of the announcement. Please discuss with those staying with you how you are going to manage social distance protocols and avoid gatherings with other cabins.
